I am so happy to get this device in hand, since i was the first-gen iphone user as well. In here, I need to provide some casual facts that i like this device.
- A Good 2G basic phone ( not classified as a 3G since there is no video conferencing)
- A good email client for most of the webmail service (except Hotmail/Live Mail)
- The best internet mobile device
- multi-touch screen to let the user interact faster than other device
- Chinese handwriting input
- GPS to locate the current position in the earth
- Apps Store to let developer like me that to create or to get apps easily
- A decent camera to take photos with friends
Although it is so great, there are still cons about it.
- Camera is only 2-mega pixels
- Auto reset / reboot itself if you try to doing too many things at the same time
- Apps deliver conflicts with itune
- the first-gen iphone docks doesn’t fit it in
- EDGE can’t be turn off to save money
- Notes doesn’t sync to my Mac in anyway
- The contact search bar is on the top of the contact list (not floating on top while you search contacts)
- Hong Kong Apps store doesn’t come with all Apps that US had. ( I mean even some Free Apps is US or Europe Only Apps)
- Wall paper inside the interface can’t be changed
